Day 01. (Kandy - 1 Night) On Arrival Day
  • Warm welcome at Katunayake International Airport from our staff.

  • Get into our air-conditioned vehicle and proceed to Dambulla.

Visit Temple Of Tooth Relic Kandy.

*En route visit the National Spice Garden Matale.

        The Matale Herbal and Spice Garden is full of exotic, tantalizing and luscious spices and herbs. It has an Information Center as well as a Sales Center where visitors can learn about the plants and buy spices respectively. Some of the spices available for sale here are Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Clove, Ginger and Pepper Vines. The herbal brew they serve here is a must-try. Ayurvedic medicine made from herbs provides cures for a huge variety of illnesses such as Arthritis, Paralysis, Cancer, and many more since ancient times.

*After Spending some time in the spice garden, Proceed to Kandy City.

       The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic or Sri Dalada Maligawa, is a Buddhist temple in Kandy. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Lord Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic, holds the governance of the country. The relic was historically held by Sinhalese kings. The temple of the tooth is a World Heritage Site mainly due to the temple and the relic.

*After visiting the temple of Tooth Relic, Be entertained by the Kandy Cultural Dance Show.

*Then go to visit handmade Ceylon batik workshops.

*At last, the Kandy city tour including the Kandy lake visit, in the late evening.

         Kandy is undoubtedly a very safe city and going out at night is something that should not to be worried by any visitor. The city can be lively and active even at night, so make the best of Kandy nightlife by taking a relaxed walk along the streets of Kandy. The well-lit pathways around Kandy Lake can be a real treat, as you watch the lights reflect upon the peaceful water. The nightlife in Kandy is quite special where you have a wide variety of activities. Also If you’re in time for the Kandy Perahera, consider yourself lucky as it is one of the glamorous local processions that visitors get to witness. It takes place only during certain times (around August- September) of the year.

Day 02. (Nuwara eliya- 1 Night) Visit central highlands.

*Early morning enjoy the delicious Breakfast Buffet.

*After breakfast go to visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.

       Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is an Orphanage Nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian Elephants located at Pinnawala village, 13 km Northeast of Kegalle town in Sabaragamuwa Province of Sri Lanka. Pinnawala has the largest herd of captive Elephants in the world. In 2023, there were 71 elephants, including 30 males and 41 females from 3 generations, living in Pinnawala.

*On the way back to the hotel, visit Royal Botanical Garden Peradeniya.

      Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden is near the Mahaweli River (The longest river in Sri Lanka). It has a diverse collection of tropical woody plants and is renowned for its collection of orchids. The garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres (0.59 km2).

*Check out and Proceed to Nuwara Eliya.

      Kandy to Nuwara Eliya route is one of the best itineraries where visitors can enjoy the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. Travelers can look forward to having breathtaking scenery right from the beginning to the end of the trip. Green-capped mountains, valleys, tea gardens, vegetable plots, waterfalls, streams, rivers, and patches of forest are the key attractions on this route. Even though there is a very good road from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, the time taken to drive 75 kilometers between the two cities is between 2-3 hours. Keeping a moderate speed is very important on this track due to the sharp bends.

       The dry season from November to April is the best time to go to the up-country cities, like Kandy and Nuwara Eliya. April is considered to be the best month of the year to travel to Nuwara Eliya from Kandy. Most flowering plants produce flowers in the month of April and therefore gardens in Nuwara Eliya become colorful and attractive. “Nuwara Eliya is surrounded by rolling hills and lush green tea plantations, offering visitors breathtaking views and ample opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and birdwatching. The town is also home to a number of beautiful parks and gardens, including Victoria Park, which is filled with colorful flowers and exotic plants.

*Visit Pedro Tea Estate, get to know about the process of the tea factory.

Day 03, 04. (Yala – 2 Nights) Adventure activities

Visit one of the famous tourist destinations in Sri Lanka, Ella.

*Early morning, have a packed breakfast and check out from the hotel to travel to Yala.
*On the way, Visit Horton Plains National Park in the morning.

        Horton Plains National Park is a breathtaking natural reserve located in the central highlands of Sri Lanka.
